Sport

For a long time Southborough has been associated with sport. Cricket has been played on the common for over 200 years. Southborough has three football clubs, the largest being Ridgewaye FC. Ridgewaye F.C. is the largest youth organisation in Southborough having over 300 members in 2011. It has been an FA Charter Standard Development Club since January 2003. Both boys and girls aged from six to eighteen years old are welcome to train on Saturday mornings at the Ridgewaye fields, off Yew Tree Road, Southborough.

Schools

Although there are no secodary schools in Southbrough there are various pre schools/nursaries, and primary schools. Southborough Pre-School, Holden Park Pre School and Asquith Nusery make up the pre schools and Southborough C of E Infant School, Southborough C of E Primary School and St Matthew's C of E Primary School make up the primary schools.

Southbrough offers a variey of pubs and places to go and eat. Pubs include The Imperial, The Hand & Scepture and The Weavers. Resturants include Lemongrass Thai Resturant, La Lipu Cuisine Indian Resturant and many more, plus lots of take aways.There are no clubs in Southbrough but with Tunbridge Wells and Tonbridge being just a stones throw away its not hard to let your hair down if you wish.
